VLF4EU project featured at EMO Hannover 2025

The VLF4EU (Virtual Learning Factories for EU) project was presented by AFM CLUSTER during EMO Hannover 2025, held from September 22 to 27 at Deutsche Messe, Germany. The event served as a global platform to highlight an initiative that aims to transform vocational education and training (VET) through the integration of immersive technologies in learning environments.

Visitors to the AFM CLUSTER stand had the opportunity to discover how VLF4EU is redefining technical training by incorporating virtual reality, augmented reality, and digital twins into manufacturing education. These technologies enable students and professionals to acquire hands-on experience in digital and sustainable production processes, preparing them to lead innovation in industrial SMEs.

With over 1,800 exhibitors and 120,000 professionals attending from more than 40 countries, EMO Hannover 2025 once again confirmed its role as the premier global stage for advanced manufacturing. The fair provided an ideal setting to foster connections between training institutions, companies, and technology centres aligned with the principles of Industry 5.0.

As a European alliance of virtual learning factories, VLF4EU strengthens collaboration between VET providers, universities, SMEs, and industry associations. Its presence at EMO Hannover, supported by AFM CLUSTER, underscored the project’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and industrial innovation, promoting a new model of immersive, collaborative, and future-oriented learning.
